Fraserburgh South Links Sports Development Trust
Alan Jones Associates was appointed by the Fraserburgh Development Trust to support the development of a new constituted body and to undertake the Business Plan for a new multi-sport facility on the town’s south links. Following substantial consultation, the Plan outlined a strong business case for a new synthetic running track, high quality football pitch and all abilities cycle track.
Alan Jones Associations worked to support the development of a new SCIO Trust (Fraserburgh South Links Sports Development Trust), before applying successfully to a mix of major funders. We were then appointed to project manage the development to completion, delivering a £1.2 million outdoor sports complex comprising a 6-lane floodlit synthetic running track, grass football infield, closed loop cycling track and all athletics store and toilets.
