Russian Arctic Convoy Project

Prior to spring 2016, The Russian Arctic Convoy Museum Project Group had developed the concept of a multi-site museum around the shores of Loch Ewe to create a wartime trail and range of visitor attractions following the coast from Cove to Mellon Charles.

Recently an existing more suitable property in Aultbea was identified and the focus for the new Visitor Centre switched from the Cove site to this location in Aultbea(below). We produced the business plan outlining the case for investing in a new visitor centre, located on the North Coast 500 route in Aultbea. We secured funding of £72,000 from the Scottish Land Fund and £70,000 from Highland LEADER to purchase the building. The facility is now operational.

Our company have been retained to assist the group in securing further capital funding to extend their facilities.
