A NICE Vision For Nairn
NICE (Nairn Improvement Community Enterprise) is a company limited by guarantee to facilitate the regeneration of Nairn Town Centre and its surrounding areas. It has recently been recognised by Scottish Government as a Community Body under the “Right to Buy” legislation, and is in the process of identifying a robust business cases to fund the purchase of properties so that relevant “community assets” can be retained and enhanced for the benefit of the local community.
Alan Jones Associates was commissioned by NICE to create a NICE Vision for Nairn a multifaceted vision for regenerating the town, benefiting residents, tourism, employers, businesses and employees Membership of NICE grew from 120 to over 1000 as a result of the Plan.
