Clyne Heritage Society (Brora)
The Old Clyne School was gifted to the Clyne Heritage Society, along with a grant of £1m from SSE as a contribution linked to the Gordonbush Windfarm development.
In developing the Hub concept, for those activities highlighted through community engagement, and to develop a place for the members and the local community to meet to pursue their heritage interests we proposed the adjacent Hub Model for Clyne Old School.
The Society is now in the process of applying for major capital grants to meet this funding gap. When the funding is secured and the project comes to fruition, the Society will relinquish their interest in the Brora heritage centre in Fascally Park.
